Shark's Nose is a climbing area in the Bridger Wilderness, part of the Pinedale Ranger District of Bridger-Teton National Forest in Wyoming. The Forest Service manages the land, and the area sits within designated wilderness, which makes it a remote, backcountry destination. The climbing here is alpine in style, with six routes spread across the area. The grades run from 5.6 to 5.9 on the YDS scale, with the North Face at 5.8 and the Direct Southwest Face at 5.9. The Direct Northwest buttress and South Tower Summit are also 5.9. The Direct Southwest Face was first climbed by Fred Beckey, Yvon Chouinard and Ken Weeks in 1960. Several other climbing areas are close by. Wolfs Head is 0.3 miles away and Cirque of the Towers is 0.4 miles away. Pingora is 0.6 miles away. For a hike, the Hailey Pass Trail is about a mile off.
