Red Slide is a 2.2-mile out-and-back hike in Wyoming's Caribou-Targhee National Forest, within the Palisades Ranger District. The trail rises from about 7,946 feet to a high point of 9,070 feet, a climb of 1,077 feet, and is rated moderate. The Forest Service manages the land. The trail is natural-surfaced and open year-round. Bikes and horses are both allowed, so it works for riders and pack animals as well as hikers. Cabin Creek lies just 0.1 mile away, and Deadhorse Canyon is about a mile off. For an overnight stay, Wolf Creek Campground is roughly 4.6 miles away, and The Goat Cave climbing area is about 4.4 miles away.
