Widgi Left is a climbing area in the Bend/Fort Rock Ranger District of Deschutes National Forest in Oregon, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among a cluster of other climbing spots and hiking routes, so it works well as a stop in a day of exploring the surrounding area. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Bend show July highs around 84°F with lows near 49°F, and only about two wet days that month. Winter brings highs in the low 40s and a few snow days each month from December through February. Several other climbing areas and hikes are close by. Meadow Camp and Meadow Camp, AKA Meadow Picnic Area are both under a mile away, and Widgi Creek is about 1.1 miles off. For a change of pace, the Deschutes River offers canoeing roughly 5 miles away.
