Downstream Boulders is a bouldering area on Bureau of Land Management land in Oregon's Prineville Deschutes Field Office, about 0.1 mile from the Main Area Boulders and the Blobby Zone. The Warmup-Hangout Zone sits just as close, and the Cline Falls Routes are about 0.2 mile away, so the whole cluster makes a compact base for a day of bouldering. The climbing here is all bouldering, with five routes spread across the area. Grades run from V2-3 up to V7, with the hardest being Bland Dragon. The Place To Be is a V4, and Dreamline, a V5, was first climbed in November 2021. For timing, late spring and early fall are the most comfortable. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Redmond show May highs around 69°F and September highs around 79°F, while July and August average in the upper 80s. Hikers can find the Unnamed BLM Trail about 2.5 miles away, with Wrangler Road and the Fat Rabbit Loop Trail both within about 3 miles.
