Voodoo Child is an easy, 1.4-mile out-and-back hike in the Bend/Fort Rock Ranger District of Deschutes National Forest in Oregon, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is short and low, with a total climb of about 100 feet and a high point of 4,359 feet. The route is natural-surfaced and back-loaded, with the steepest stretch at about 0.47 miles, where the grade reaches 3%. Bikes are allowed, but horses are not. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from the nearby Sunriver weather station run to highs around 84°F in July and 83°F in August, with lows near 40°F. Winter is cold, with January highs around 40°F and lows near 20°F. Kent's is about 0.7 miles away, and the Voodoo and Expressway hikes are within about 1.5 miles. Climbers can find Widgi Creek about 1.2 miles off.
