Pinedrops is a moderate out-and-back hike of about 3.9 miles on natural-surface trail in the Bend/Fort Rock Ranger District of Oregon's Deschutes National Forest. The Forest Service manages the land, and the route rises about 476 feet from its starting point, which sits around 4,500 feet, to a high point of about 4,980 feet. The climb is front-loaded, with the steepest stretch around mile 1.4, and the trail returns to its starting elevation. Bikes are allowed, but horses are not. The trail is close to several other destinations, including the Whoops and Ext hikes, about 0.1 mile away, and the Power Lines climbing area, about a mile off. Three Creeks Lake Campground is roughly 9 miles away.
