Tolo Creek is a 3.2-mile out-and-back hike in the Diamond Lake Ranger District of Oregon's Umpqua National Forest, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is rated moderate, with a total climb of about 537 feet, and it starts at roughly 4,580 feet, reaching a high point of about 5,000 feet. The trail is natural-surfaced and allows horses. It is not an accessible route. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from the nearby Chemult weather station show July highs around 83°F with lows near 39°F and only about three wet days, while winter brings highs in the mid-30s and frequent rain. The North Umpqua and North Umpqua Trail both start about 0.1 mile away. Tenas Peak and Windigo Pass are each a little over 2 miles off.
