Timberline Lodge T1 is a short, easy hike in Oregon's Mt. Hood National Forest, within the Zigzag Ranger District. The trail is about a mile long and sits at roughly 5,940 feet, with a high point of about 5,960 feet. It is an out-and-back route with a total elevation gain of about 64 feet, so it's a gentle walk that takes about half an hour to complete. The trail is natural-surfaced and not accessible. It starts close to Timberline Lodge, and the nearest town is likely the lodge itself, which also serves as the base for the Timberline Lodge Ski Area, about 0.4 miles away. Alpine Campground is about 0.7 miles off, and the Mountaineer hike is about 0.9 miles away. For climbing, the Mt. Hood National Forest climbing area is about 2.1 miles away.
