Sinns Bar is a 2-mile out-and-back hike in Oregon's Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forests, on the Siskiyou Mountains Ranger District. The trail rises about 537 feet from a low of roughly 1,995 feet to a high of about 2,520 feet, and it's an easy walk that can be paired with a horse or a bike. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail sits on natural ground, not an accessible route. Summer is the warmest stretch for the trip. At the nearby Ruch weather station, typical July highs reach about 92°F, while October averages a milder 72°F with lows near 38°F. That station sits about 970 feet lower than the trail's high point, so temperatures up top run cooler. The hike takes about an hour, and it makes a natural anchor for exploring the surrounding area. Grouse Loop and Collings Mountain are both within about half a mile, and Tipsu Tyee Campground and HART-TISH PARK at Applegate Lake are under a mile away.
