Prospectors Loop is an easy, out-and-back hike of about 1.9 miles in the Siskiyou Mountains Ranger District of the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forests in southwest Oregon. The trail rises about 215 feet from a starting point near 2,405 feet to a high point of about 2,427 feet, with the steepest stretch at about 0.38 miles in. The trail is on natural surface and is open to both horses and bikes. It is not an accessible trail, according to the Forest Service's accessibility status. The land is managed by the Forest Service, and the route is open year-round. For comfortable weather, aim for late spring or early fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Ruch, Oregon, run to highs around 75°F in May and 72°F in October, while July and August average highs in the low 90s. That station sits well below the trail, so temperatures on the loop run cooler. Several other trails start close by, including Calsh Trail #971 and Osprey, each about 0.4 miles away, and Sinns Bar at about 0.5 miles. Tipsu Tyee Campground is about 0.6 miles off.
