Pro Line Trail is a moderate out-and-back hike in Oregon's Mt. Hood National Forest, within the Zigzag Ranger District. The trail is about 2 miles long, with a total elevation gain of roughly 2,400 feet, and it starts at about 4,985 feet, rising to a high point of nearly 5,000 feet before descending back to the trailhead. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Government Camp show July and August highs around 70°F with only about four wet days a month, while winter months bring highs in the mid-30s and rain on most days. The trip takes about two hours. Sunrise Trail lies just 0.1 mile away, and Peak Hike, a ski touring route, is about 0.2 mile off. Kiwanis Camp Crag, a climbing area, is about 2.2 miles away, and Still Creek campground is about 2.5 miles away.
