Mirror Lake Loop is a short, easy hike of about 0.8 miles in the Zigzag Ranger District of Mt. Hood National Forest, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is natural-surfaced and sits at roughly 4,100 feet, with the high point at 4,125 feet. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from the nearby Government Camp weather station show July and August highs around 70°F with only about four wet days a month, while winter months bring highs in the mid-30s and rain on most days. Mirror Lake is just 0.1 mile away, and Mirror Lake Trail #664 is about 0.3 mile off. Kiwanis Camp Crag, a climbing area, is about 1.4 miles away, and Still Creek campground is about 2.8 miles away.
