Lollipop Loop Nordic is a 3.98-mile out-and-back hike in the High Cascades Ranger District of the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forests in Oregon, managed by the Forest Service. The route starts at about 4,705 feet and climbs to a high point of 5,141 feet, with a total gain of 1,260 feet over the course of the trip. The climb is rolling, and the steepest stretch comes at about 3.2 miles in, where the grade reaches 14 percent. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from the Howard Prairie Dam weather station, about 12 miles away, show July and August highs near 79°F with only two or three wet days a month. Winter is cold and snowy, with highs in the mid-30s and snow on about nine days a month in December and January. The trip takes about 3.5 hours. Peppermint Nordic and Fish Lake Tie Nordic, both cross-country ski routes, sit just a tenth of a mile and 0.2 miles away. Fish Lake Campground is half a mile off, and North Fork Campground is about 2.7 miles away.
