Dynah-Moe Humm is a 12.8-mile out-and-back hike in the Bend/Fort Rock Ranger District of Oregon's Deschutes National Forest. The trail rises from about 5,048 feet to 5,626 feet, with a total climb of 1,366 feet and a steepest stretch of 14% grade around mile 3.1. It's a hard route, and the natural-surface trail is open to bikes but not to horses. The most comfortable months for a visit are late spring and early fall. Typical averages from the nearby Sunriver weather station, which sits well below the trail, run from highs around 65°F in May to 76°F in September. That station records highs near 84°F in July, so temperatures on the trail run cooler. The hike is open year-round and should take about five hours. Several cross-country ski routes start right next to it, including Light Bulb Tie and Edison Snowshoe, both about a tenth of a mile away. Farther out, Cougar Buttress offers climbing at about 7.5 miles, and Lava Lake Campground is roughly 8.6 miles away.
