Boulder Creek Campground is a small, secluded Forest Service campground in the Tiller Ranger District of Oregon's Umpqua National Forest. It sits along the South Umpqua River, near the mouth of Boulder Creek, and offers a quiet retreat in a mixed conifer forest. With only seven campsites, it's a compact base for a short stay in the forest. Vault toilets are the only facility on site, and a fee is charged for camping. The forest manages the land, and the campground's small size makes it a good choice for visitors looking for a peaceful, low-key base close to the river. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July and August highs around 84°F with only about three wet days a month, while winter months bring highs in the mid-40s and rain on most days. Three C Rock Campground is just 0.3 miles away, and Dumont Creek Campground and Ash Flat Campground are both within about 2.3 miles. Paddlers can head to Dumont Creek, roughly 3 miles off.
