Boulders is a climbing area in North Carolina, about a mile from the town of Mountain View. It sits among several named climbing walls, which makes it a compact destination for climbers looking to move between different crags in a short time. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Gastonia show October highs around 74°F with lows near 51°F, and April is similar at about 74°F by day and 50°F at night. That station sits roughly 580 feet lower than the boulders, so temperatures on the rock may run a little cooler. Resurgence Walls, Rawlhide Wall and Trundlasaurus Wall all lie about 0.1 mile away. The Backside Trail is about 0.2 mile off, and paddlers can find Long Creek about 5 miles away.
