Trundlasaurus Wall is a climbing area in North Carolina, about a mile from the town of Mountain View. It sits among a cluster of other climbing spots, with Boulders and Resurgence Walls each about 0.1 mile away and Rawlhide Wall at a similar distance. The Backside Trail starts about 0.2 mile off, and the Rocktop Trail and Tower Trail are about half a mile away. The area has 12 routes, with grades ranging from 5.6 to 5.11+. Six are trad routes and five are sport routes, and the hardest is Bushman, a sport route at 5.11+. Tyranasaurus Rox is a trad route at 5.10, and No Experience Necessary is a trad route at 5.6. The mixed route is the only one of that style. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to climb. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Gastonia run to highs around 74°F in April and October, while July highs average about 91°F. That station sits roughly 570 feet lower than the wall, so temperatures on the rock run cooler.
