The Terrace Area is a bouldering area within the Mohonk Preserve in New York, a non-governmental organization-managed land unit. It sits among a cluster of climbing and hiking spots, with the Steel Bridge Boulders and Keyhole Cliff area both about 0.1 mile away and the Millbrook Ridge Trail just as close. The climbing here is all bouldering, with seven routes spread across the V1 to V9 scale. The most common grades are V4 through V7, and the hardest of them is Jordan's Variation at V9. Super star and Twister are both V5. Summer is the warmest stretch for a day out. Typical averages from the nearby Mohonk Lake weather station put July highs around 83°F and September highs near 73°F, while winter brings highs in the 30s and occasional snow days from December through February.
