Pyramid Peak is a climbing area in the High Peaks Wilderness of New York, managed by the State Department of Conservation. It sits among a cluster of trails and climbing spots, with the Sawteeth Trail just 0.2 miles away and the Gothics climbing area about 0.4 miles off. The area has five trad routes, all rated between 5.4 and 5.8. Mountaineer's Route is the easiest at 5.4, and Rockwork Orange is the hardest at 5.8. The other routes are Return to Forever and Stage Show at 5.7, and A Dream of Wind Horses at 5.5. The first ascents of these routes were made between 2015 and 2016. Nearby, Panther Gorge is about 2.5 miles away, and the West Branch Ausable River offers canoeing roughly 8 miles out.
