Monsoon / Swamp is a climbing area in Harriman State Park in New York, managed by State Park and Recreation. It sits about half a mile from the town of Ramapo, making it an easy stop for climbers and hikers in the park. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show May highs around 71°F and September highs around 76°F, with July the warmest month at about 84°F. Several other climbing areas lie right next door, including Swamp Boulder, Gravitas and Snake Hole Right, each about 0.1 mile away. The White Diamond Trail is about 0.2 mile off, and the 7 Hills Trail is roughly 0.7 mile away.
