C U P is a climbing area in Harriman State Park in New York, managed by State Park and Recreation. It sits among a cluster of other climbing spots, including Swamp Boulder, Monsoon / Swamp and Gravitas, all within about a tenth of a mile. The area has six routes, four of which are mixed and two are sport. Grades run from 5.3 up to 5.11+, with Friday the 13th AKA Knowlton-Barone Direct and Crumbling Under Pressure among the more challenging options. Evasion is the easiest route at 5.3, and Bleu Cheese Crumbles is a sport climb at 5.11+. Late spring and early fall tend to be the most comfortable times to climb.
