i. Terror Dome is a climbing area within Minnewaska State Park Preserve in New York, managed by State Park and Recreation. It sits among a cluster of named climbing areas, with Peterskill and k. Oops Wall about 0.1 mile away, and j. Scrotum Pole/Drive in Area the same distance. The High Peter's Kill Trail lies half a mile off. The climbing here runs to about 5.10, with mixed routes making up three of the five listed and trad routes two. The hardest is Dreaming of Anything, and the easiest is Good Rock and Broken Glass at 5.5. The median grade is 5.8+. The most comfortable months for a visit are typically late spring through early fall. Typical averages from the nearby Mohonk Lake weather station show May highs around 71°F and September highs around 73°F, with July peaking near 83°F.
