High Electricity boulder is a bouldering area in Harriman State Park in New York, managed by State Park and Recreation. It sits among a cluster of other bouldering spots, with b. The Swath and Swath Boulders each about 0.1 mile away and Oliphant Boulder at a similar distance. The White Diamond Trail passes within 0.2 mile. The climbing here is all bouldering, with five routes ranging from V0- to V2. High Electricity is the V1 route that gives the area its name, and The Commitment is the hardest at V2. The boulders are close together, so it's easy to move between them. For timing, late spring and early fall are the most comfortable. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show May highs around 71°F and September highs around 76°F, with July the warmest month at about 84°F. The White Diamond Trail and 7 Hills Trail are both within a mile for a walk after climbing. Across the state line in New Jersey, the Ramapo River offers fishing about 4 miles away.
