Case Wall is a climbing area in the High Peaks Wilderness of New York, managed by the State Department of Conservation. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots and hiking trails, with Lower Beer Wall and the Roaring Brook Trail both about 0.3 miles away. The area has five routes, four of which are sport climbs and one is a trad route. Grades run from 5.7 up to 5.12d, with the hardest being Briefcase at 5.12d. The trad route, Last Swim Or Dive, is 5.7. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Lake Placid show July highs around 74°F with lows near 54°F, while winter highs stay in the 20s. Nearby climbing includes Beer Walls and Upper Beer Wall, and the Henry Stimson Trail and Old Dix Trail are both within half a mile for a walk before or after a climb.
