White Trail is a 0.5-mile point-to-point hike in Hudson Highlands State Park Preserve in New York, managed by State Park and Recreation. It rises from about 478 feet to 764 feet, with a total elevation gain of 264 feet, and is rated moderate. The steepest stretch comes at about 0.34 miles in, where the grade reaches 26 percent. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from the Stormville, NY weather station, about 10 miles away, show May highs near 72°F and September highs near 74°F, with July the warmest month at about 83°F. The hike takes about half an hour. Overlook Trail starts just 0.1 mile away, and Fishkill Ridge Trail is 0.8 mile off. Dry Brook Trail and Casino Trail are both within about 2 miles.
