Skyline Trail (251) is a 9.5-mile out-and-back hike in the Pecos Wilderness, part of the Espanola Ranger District of the Santa Fe National Forest in northern New Mexico. The trail climbs from about 10,583 feet to a high point of 1,1771 feet, a gain of 1,306 feet, and is rated moderate. The route lies entirely within designated wilderness, and the Forest Service manages the surrounding land. The Winsor Trail (254) starts just 0.1 mile away, and the Winsor hike is about 0.3 mile off, so the two can be linked easily. Aspen Basin campground sits about 2.8 miles away, and Big Tesuque campground is about 4.1 miles away, both good bases for longer trips. For anglers, the Pecos River is about 6.2 miles away.
