Rocky Point is a short, easy hike in the Sandia Ranger District of Cibola National Forest in New Mexico, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is about 1.6 miles long and rises roughly 72 feet from a low point of 10,210 feet to a high point of 10,296 feet. The trail is natural-surface and bikes are allowed. It is not an accessible trail. The Forest Service lists the open season as April 1 to November 30. Challenge is a hike just 0.1 mile away, and the Klaus and Kiwanis Meadow Trail cross-country ski routes sit right beside it. Climbers will find Yucca Flower Tower about half a mile off.
