Crest Spur Trail is a short, easy out-and-back hike in the Sandia Mountain Wilderness, part of the Sandia Ranger District of Cibola National Forest in New Mexico. The trail is about 0.46 miles long, with a one-way elevation gain of 140 feet, and it starts and ends at roughly 10,126 feet, rising to about 10,285 feet at the high point. The route is brief and gentle, making it an easy addition to a day spent exploring the surrounding area. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail lies within designated wilderness, so it falls under the rules and protections of the Sandia Mountain Wilderness. Windward Wall, a climbing area, sits just 0.1 mile away, and Echo Canyon and the Kiwanis Cabin Trail are each about 0.2 mile off. The Crest House Spur Trail is also close by, at about 0.2 mile.
