Echo Canyon is a climbing area in the Sandia Mountain Wilderness, part of the Sandia Ranger District of Cibola National Forest in New Mexico. The Forest Service manages the land, and the canyon sits within designated wilderness, which makes it a compact, close-knit cluster of routes rather than a long drive away from the trailhead. The area holds nine routes, with trad climbing the most common style. Mixed and sport routes also appear, and the grade range runs from 5.7 up to 5.13. Among the named routes are Runnel Runner at 5.7, Crackula at 5.8 and Daisy at 5.13. The sport route Crankenstein is at 5.11b. Several other climbing areas and trails lie within a short distance. Bush Shark Area and Yucca Flower Tower are each about 0.1 mile away, and Windward Wall is about 0.2 mile off. The Crest Spur Trail is also about 0.2 mile away for hikers.
