Hardy Ridge is a 6-mile out-and-back hike in the Magdalena Ranger District of Cibola National Forest in New Mexico, managed by the Forest Service. The trail rises about 600 feet from a low point of 8,798 feet to a high point of 9,197 feet, and it is rated hard. Bikes and horses are both allowed on the trail, which has a natural surface. That makes it a practical choice for riders and pack animals as well as hikers. Hardy Spring lies just 0.8 miles away, and the West Fork Trail and South Baldy Summit Trail are both within about 1.6 miles. For an overnight stay, Water Canyon Campground is about 5.5 miles off.
