Mount Moriah
About
Mount Moriah is a summit in the Mt. Moriah Wilderness of eastern Nevada, part of the Ely Ranger District of the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest. The nearest town is Baker, about 18 miles away. Because the peak sits inside designated wilderness, trips here start from the surrounding trail network rather than a single developed site. Several routes lie close to the peak. Hendrys Creek is under a mile away, the Mt. Moriah hike is about a mile off, and the Mount Moriah Trail and Big Canyon are both around 2 miles away.
