Mother's Crag is a climbing area in Nevada on Bureau of Land Management land within the Red Rock/Sloan Field Office. It sits among several other climbing spots, with Red Rock Wash, Wobble and Children's Crag all about 0.2 miles away. The climbing here is trad, with six traditional routes and one sport route. The YDS grades run from 5.4 to 5.7, and the easiest are Crag Hag and Dream Girl, both 5.4. Mike's Route is 5.6, and the sport route is Unnamed at 5.7. Spring is the most comfortable time to climb. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show April highs around 70°F with lows near 47°F, while July and August average highs in the mid-90s. That station sits about 1,000 feet lower than the crag, so temperatures at the crag run cooler. For a walk, White Rock Loop is 0.3 miles away and Lost Creek Trail is 0.5 miles away. Red Rock Canyon Campground is about 7 miles off.
