Children's Crag is a climbing area in Nevada on Bureau of Land Management land within the Red Rock/Sloan Field Office. It sits among a cluster of other climbing spots and trails, with Mossy Ledges Area, Mystery Canyon and Wobble all about 0.1 mile away, and White Rock Loop just as close. The climbing here is all trad, with 10 routes ranging from 5.6 to 5.11. Among them are Stemming Corner at 5.6, Dean's List at 5.11, and 22 Minutes 'til Closing at 5.7, which was first climbed by Todd Lane in May 2006. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show April highs around 70°F and October highs around 75°F, while July and August average in the mid-90s. That station sits about 800 feet lower than the crag, so temperatures at the climbing area run cooler. Red Rock Canyon Campground is about 6.8 miles away, and the Grand Circle Trail is about 0.7 mile off.
