North Twin River is a 13.2-mile out-and-back hike in Nevada's Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest, within the Arc Dome Wilderness and the Austin-Tonopah Ranger District. The trail rises from about 6,560 feet to a high point of 10,129 feet, a climb of 3,701 feet one way, and it is rated hard. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trailhead is called North/South Twin Trailhead. The route is on natural surface, and horses are allowed. Bikes are not. The trail is open from about June 15 to October 30, and the season is best planned around that window. The Toiyabe Crest Trail lies about a mile away, and the Twin Rivers Connector Trail is about 2.2 miles off. Columbine Campground, about 6.3 miles away, offers a place to stay. Arc Dome Summit is roughly 6 miles from the trail.
