Columbine Campground is a Forest Service site in the Austin-Tonopah Ranger District of Nevada's Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest. It sits in the Tonopah area, and the nearest town is Tonopah. The site has no fees, and the only amenity is vault toilets. That makes it a simple base for an overnight stay in the district, with no need to plan around a fee or a full service station. Two hikes start right next to the campground: Columbine and Stewart Creek, both about 0.2 miles away. A little farther out are North Twin River Cutoff at about 2 miles and Arc Dome Trail at about 2.6 miles.
