Belton Bridge at Glacier National Park

Belton Bridge is a bouldering area in Montana's Glacier National Park, set along the Flathead, Montana Wild and Scenic River. The Forest Service manages the land, and the spot sits within the park's network of climbing areas. The climbing here is all bouldering, with six routes spread across a range of grades from V0 to V6-7. The easiest is "Go up" at V0, and the hardest is "Aqua Exaltation" at V6-7. The median grade runs V3-4, so the area suits climbers of all levels. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July highs around 80°F with lows near 50°F, and August is similar with fewer wet days. Winter is cold, with January highs around 30°F and lows near 19°F. Apgar Group Sites, about 1.8 miles away, is the closest place to camp. The Fish Creek to Apgar Hiking Path and Rocky Point Nature Trail are both within about 4 miles. For more climbing, Glacier National Park is about 8.6 miles away.
