Edith Peak is a hard hike in the Ninemile Ranger District of Montana's Lolo National Forest, managed by the Forest Service. The route is an out-and-back that climbs about 2,800 feet over 12 miles, from a low point of 3,786 feet to a high point of 6,608 feet on the summit. The trail is natural-surfaced and allows bikes, so it works for hikers and riders alike. It is open year-round, and the Forest Service lists it as a year-round route. The closest neighbor is an unnamed path about 0.7 miles away. Sixmile lies about 5.4 miles off, and the Valley Creek 1300 section of heavey alder and the Valley Creek 1300 path are both about 6 miles away.
