Albert Creek is a hard hike in the Ninemile Ranger District of Lolo National Forest in western Montana, about 11.6 miles long with a one-way elevation gain of 2,401 feet. The trail is managed by the Forest Service and is on natural surface, and it is open to both horses and bikes. The route is an out-and-back that starts at about 4,073 feet and climbs to about 6,474 feet. That makes it a serious day for anyone heading out on foot, on horseback or on a bike. Several other trails sit close by. Albert-Petty Tie is less than a mile away, Petty Mountain is about 1.2 miles off, and Albert Point is about 1.5 miles away. Bighorm interpretive trail is roughly 5 miles from the trail.
