Deep Woods Trail East is a short, easy mountain biking route in Massachusetts, about 1.3 miles from South Lynnfield. The trail is an out-and-back that covers roughly 1.6 miles round trip, with a total elevation gain of about 10 feet. The climb is gentle, with the steepest stretch at about 0.48 miles in, where the grade reaches about 3%. Summer and early fall are the most comfortable times to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Middleton show July highs around 81°F and September highs around 73°F, with lows in the 50s. The trail sits among a cluster of climbing areas, including Bog Boulder - W06, Tombstone Crag, Mt. Spickett Area Boulders and Elephant Boulder, all about 0.1 mile away. For more riding, Overlook Trail is about 0.4 mile off and Deep Woods Trail West is about 0.7 mile away.
