Mystery Train is a short, out-and-back mountain biking route in Massachusetts, about half a mile from Kinsman Corner. The climb is only about 26 feet of elevation gain, and the whole trip covers roughly 1.1 miles, so it's a quick ride rather than a long one. The route is rated hard, which makes it a challenge for the distance it covers. The route has a low point of 109 feet and a high of 145 feet, with the steepest stretch at about 0.43 miles in, where the grade reaches 3%. The total climb and descent are each about 111 feet, so the round trip is roughly double the one-way gain. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Middleton run to highs around 81°F in July, with September still near 73°F. Winters are cold, with January highs around 35°F.
