The Bay Circuit Trail is a short, easy mountain biking route in Massachusetts, about 0.4 miles from the town of Boxford. It is an out-and-back ride of roughly 0.28 miles, with a flat profile and almost no elevation change. The route starts and ends at nearly the same level, with a high point of 77 feet and a low of 71 feet, and the total climb and descent each add up to about 24 feet. Summer and early fall are the most comfortable times to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Middleton show July highs around 81°F and September highs around 73°F, with lows in the 50s. Several other routes sit close by. Bald Hill Road is about a mile away, and Mystery Train is about 1.4 miles off. The Bct Section 3 hike is about 1.6 miles away, and Witch Hollow Trail is about 2.8 miles away.
