The Bay Circuit Trail is a short, easy mountain biking route in Massachusetts, about 0.6 miles from the town of Boxford. The trail is an out-and-back with a total length of about 0.3 miles, and it sits almost entirely flat, with a high point of 83 feet and a low of 70 feet. The climb is gentle, with a total gain and loss of about 13 feet each, and the steepest stretch comes at about 0.05 miles in, with a grade of about 6 percent. Summer and early fall are the most comfortable times to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Middleton show July highs around 81°F and September highs around 73°F, with lows in the 50s. Other mountain biking routes close by include Bald Hill Road, about 0.9 miles away, and Mystery Train, about 1.3 miles away. The Bct Section 3 hike is about 1.4 miles off, and Witch Hollow Trail is about 3 miles away.
