Lower Fungo is a short, expert-level mountain biking route in Beverly, Massachusetts, on land within the City of Beverly. The ride is an out-and-back of about 0.9 miles, with a low point of 82 feet and a high of 115 feet. The climb is flat overall, with a total gain and loss of about 50 feet each, and the steepest stretch comes at about 0.2 miles in, with a grade of about 3%. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Beverly show July highs around 80°F with lows near 60°F, while winter brings highs in the upper 30s and a few snowy days a month from December through February.
