Harbor Lake is a 3.4-mile out-and-back hike in Idaho's Frank Church-River of No Return Wilderness, on the North Fork Ranger District of the Salmon-Challis National Forest. The trail climbs from about 8,200 feet to about 9,045 feet, a gain of 848 feet, and is rated moderate. The Forest Service manages the land. The route is natural-surfaced and allows horses, and bikes are not permitted. It is open year-round, so it works for a visit in any season. Puddin Mountain sits just 0.3 miles away, and Ship Island and Waterfall are both within about 1.5 miles. Golden Trout Lake is roughly 3.6 miles off.
