Shaking Rock Block is a bouldering area in Shaking Rock Park, a county-managed park in Georgia. The land is on county land, and the park holds several climbing areas within a short distance of one another, including Front Line, Brain Area and Shaking Rock, all about 0.1 mile away. The climbing here is all bouldering, with seven routes spread across the V0 to V7 range. The easiest is Joey bag of doughnuts at V0, and the hardest is Equator at V7. Vitruvian Man is a V5 boulder with a first ascent by Carlo Nacisse. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Lexington show October highs around 76°F with lows near 50°F, and April highs around 74°F. July is the hottest month, with typical highs near 91°F.
