Below the Brick Wall is a bouldering area in north Georgia, on land managed by the State Department of Natural Resources. It sits within the Chattooga River Ranger District of the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forests and overlaps with the Lake Russell Wildlife Management Area. The area is a cluster of bouldering spots, with the names Slab Area, The Small Wall and Boulders all within about a tenth of a mile. The closest climbing neighbor is Below the Main Face, also roughly 0.1 mile away. The bouldering here runs from V0 to V6, with 12 routes in total. Among them are Breaking Point (V0) and Why We Fight (V6). The boulders are the focus, so there's no need to plan for a climb of any length. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from the nearby Toccoa weather station run from highs around 73°F in April to about 74°F in October, with summer highs in the upper 80s. Lake Russell Campground is about 7.5 miles away. Hikers can find Leatherwood Creek Loop and the Latham Cemetary hike about a mile off.
