The Quinnipiac Connector Trail is a 1.6-mile point-to-point hike in Connecticut, about half a mile from the town of Mountaincrest. The route climbs about 244 feet from a low of 352 feet to a high of 613 feet. It is an easy walk, with dogs allowed on a leash, and bikes and horses are not permitted. For timing, late spring and early fall tend to be the most comfortable. Typical averages from a nearby weather station run to highs around 71°F in May and 76°F in September, and the station sits roughly 400 feet lower than the trail's high point, so temperatures up top run cooler. The Quinnipiac Trail starts just 0.1 mile away, and the Sanford Alternate Trail and Roaring Brook Falls Trail are both within about a mile and a quarter. Climbers can find CT Bouldering about 1.3 miles off.
