Paul Busch Trail is a short, easy hike in Connecticut, about half a mile long and rising just 30 feet from its low point of 141 feet to a high of 189 feet. It is a point-to-point route, and the steepest stretch comes early on, with a 7% grade at about 0.05 miles. The nearest town is Lyons Plain, about 1.5 miles away. The trail is a quick outing, and the most comfortable months for a visit are late spring and early fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Danbury show May highs around 72°F and September highs around 75°F, with July the warmest month at about 85°F. Dogs are allowed on a leash, and horses are not. The Ordway Trail starts just 0.1 mile away, and the Pink Trail (Off Leash Loop) is about 0.3 mile off. Climbers can head to Bald Rock Basin, roughly 2.6 miles away, and paddlers to the Mill River, about 4.3 miles away.
