Blue Trail is a 1.2-mile point-to-point hike in Connecticut, set within a town forest. It is an easy walk with a modest elevation gain of 73 feet and a total drop of 173 feet, making it a low-effort outing that can be linked to other routes in the area. The trail climbs from a low point of 283 feet to a high of 353 feet, and the steepest stretch comes near the end, at about 5% grade. The climb is front-loaded, so the most noticeable rise happens early on. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Burlington put May highs around 70°F and September highs around 75°F, with July the warmest month at about 84°F. The White Trail lies just 0.1 mile away, and the Yellow Trail and Orange Trail are within a mile. Climbers can find Porcupine Wall about 3 miles off.
