Tree Identification Trail is a short, easy hike in Connecticut, about a mile from Lamson Corner. The route is 0.48 miles long, with a one-way climb of 148 feet from a low point of 552 feet to a high of 706 feet. The steepest stretch comes at about 0.4 miles in, with a 7% grade. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Burlington show May highs around 70°F and September highs around 75°F, while July peaks near 84°F and January highs sit around 36°F.
